We will have a Well Wishes Jar out during the cocktail hour and reception.  I haven't figured out what I want to do with the cards yet but I'd love to think of a cute way to save them in a book.

I love using baskets!  I will have them for the programs, the bubbles, the bathrooms, you name it!  Once I actually make my own I'll post pics!  These are a few of the pictures I love...

For my "something borrowed" my aunt let me borrow my great-great grandmother's hankie that actually has purple on it!  She made this herself and I can't wait to use it (I know I'll need it!)

Picture
For my "something blue" I took blue rhinestones and putting our initials on one shoe and the date on the other.

Picture
My sixpence I ordered off ebay.

Here is our Unity Candle.  It only cost about $5.00 to make.  I just bought some vellum paper and printed the saying onto it.  Then I glued the paper onto the candle.  So easy!  Below, I did the same thing to make the memory candles.

Petal Cones

Picture
We will be hanging one of these on each of the 5 innermost chairs of each row.  Guest will toss them at us during the recessional.

To make 80 cones:

80 pieces of lightweight silver metallic cardstock (from "paper and more")
 5 rolls of black ribbon
craft decoration scissors (from Micheals to cut the edges nice and pretty!)
hole punch
petals (mine are purple)

In Microsoft word I used the "word art" tool to type the words in the right hand top corner of the page.  You can drag them to turn them sideways.  Print these.  Next, I cut them into a perfect square size.  Then, on the two corners that meet above the wording I cut down the edges with the decorative scissors (you don't have to do this, but it looks nice).  Then I used double-sided tape to tape the cone together. Then use the hole punch to make 2 punched holes about an inch apart right about the wording.  Thread the ribbon through the holes and tie together at the top.  Fill with 1/2-1 cup of petals and you're done!

I made this sign free from vistaprint.  They make lawn signs that are on heavy duty plastic backing and come with the stakes to put it in the grown.  We will have 4 of these to help point the guests in the right direction!

Bouquet initials

Picture
Each bridesmaid will have a pin with their initial that they can have on their bouquet so they won't get confused with who's is who's. These were so easy to make!  I bought the letters as keychains from michaals for $1, cut off the keychain part with wire cutters and glued a pin on the back.  Sorry the picture quality is so terrible!

Bridesmaid's Gifts

Picture
I am giving the BMs 5 things (6 to the maid of honor)

-silver flip flops with purple rhinestones for the reception and dancing
-a nice tote with their initial on the front in their favorite color
-a wine glass painted with their favorite "thing" ex: shoes, jewelry, traveling
-earrings to wear at the wedding
-the initial pin for their bouquet (show above)
-I am also giving the maid of honor a bracelet

Groomsmen and usher Gifts

Picture
The groomsmen got cufflinks and the ushers are receiving a money clip with their name engraved on it

I think these letters are so cute!  I bought letters just like them from Michael's, all I have to do is paint them.

I took our engagement photos and made a guestbook with them using Shutterfly.  We added poems and quotes to each page and will let the guests sign and leave a little message.  This was one of my favorite projects so far!
